New medina

The project “NEW MEDINA: from Pilot towns to sustainable cities” is a 3 years project settled in the framework of the CIUDAD programme (Cooperation in Urban Development And Dialogue) launch by the European Commission. Partners from both sides of the Mediterranean Sea take part in the project to strengthen capacities of local and regional governments in North Africa through the promotion of an integrated and sustainable development.

Le prochain panel d'experts aura lieu fin septembre au New Fayoum, en Egypte. Il sera organisé par le HBRC, le centre national égyptien de recherche sur le logement et la construction et portera sur l'aménagement de la ville nouvelle du Fayoum dont quelques bâtiments seulement sont sortis de terre, et sur l'éco-construction. Dates et problématiques à confirmer.
